Grief Art Therapy -Youth

(New) - Now Accepting Intakes
The program is designed to help the youth deal and express their grief in various forms of art. Concepts include: eco-therapy, plays, writing, story-telling, creating videos, paint, pencil, sketch and various other forms. The program is facilitated by an art therapist which assesses each child’s need which is done by a short interview prior to attending the workshop.
The benefits of the program not only will impact and benefit the youth but also our community. If the youth are dealing with their grief appropriately they will have better interaction and participation with family, in school, peer communications, and community involvement. This is turn benefits our community greatly by having healthy individuals, but they are our future.
